Kindergarten Zoo Program

Kavin participated in the Kindergarten Zoo Program this past week. This performance has been a long time coming and was very important to Kavin. He memorized all of his parts and learned all of the songs and then had a daily count-down to performance day. It was fun to watch him.

Kavin was a lion in this program and had to wait until the end of the show to do his part. He was very patient and gave his mom a little smile while he was pretending to be a sleeping lion in the jungle.

Hey Rick and Melissa! I just wanted to say hi. Did you know that I'm going back to Safford to teach choir at Safford High? Who knew right? Just wanted to let you know. Hopefully I can be somewhat as successful as Rick has! I'm just so excited to teach High School! I've been teaching Jr. High, and that's been tough.

Hi Melissa! (I'm one of Melanie's friends) I saw your blog link on Kerrie's today. What's funny is that I was going to email Melanie this morning and ask her to pass on a message to Rick. One of his mission companions just moved into our ward here in Michigan - Todd Anderson. Upon getting to know one another, we told them that we're from Arizona. He said that he had a companion from Arizona by the name of Richard Lunt and, of course, I had to laugh out loud because I knew exactly who he was talking about! Anyway - if you have an email address, send it my way and I'll pass it on to him. abbywelker(at)yahoo(dot)com (I have to write it that way or else I get a bunch of spam...sorry.)

Take care!
